Lobby After Dark may collect information you provide, including your email address, display name, profile settings, game/lobby activity, XP, achievements, season progress, purchases and entitlements, forum or bug-report content, and account security information. LAD also processes technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as session cookies, IP-derived abuse-prevention records, request timestamps, and security/rate-limit data.
Payment card details for web purchases are handled by Stripe. Lobby After Dark stores billing identifiers and subscription status needed to connect Stripe purchases to your LAD account, but the LAD application is not designed to store your full payment-card number.
Information is used to create and secure accounts, operate multiplayer lobbies, preserve profiles and progression, provide purchased features, process subscription status, send account verification or password-reset messages, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and improve Lobby After Dark.
LAD may share information with service providers when necessary to operate the service, including payment, hosting, and email-delivery providers. LAD does not require the sale of personal information to operate the core service. Public forum posts and display names are visible to other users as part of those features.
LAD uses a session cookie to keep you signed in, protect forms, remember language/profile state, and maintain game sessions. Security settings are applied to the session cookie in production.
Account and gameplay records are retained while needed to provide the service, preserve purchased/earned content, meet security or legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Signed-in users can request permanent account deletion from the Account page. The deletion flow cancels an attached active Stripe subscription before LAD removes the account so recurring billing is not intentionally left orphaned. Some information may be retained where required by law, for fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, or legitimate security needs.
You can manage LAD+ billing through the Stripe billing portal, choose not to use optional 21+ features, log out, or permanently delete your LAD account. Deleting an account is irreversible and removes LAD account/profile records covered by the deletion flow.
LAD uses password hashing, CSRF protection, secure production cookies, HTTPS enforcement, rate limiting, and other application safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
The optional alcohol mode is restricted in the product to 21+ use and always provides a non-alcoholic/gameplay alternative. Alcohol is never required. See the Safety page for additional information.
This policy may be updated as LAD features, providers, or legal requirements change. Material updates should be reflected by a revised effective date or additional notice when appropriate.
